Chiesa del Purgatorio

The church is inside the old town. It was formed in the eighteenth century on the oldest chapel of San Martino.

The houses, which over the years have been laid on the building, let you see, currently, only the front and the west side (overlooking Via Mulini).

The facade has the typical Baroque Modulation and frieze framing the portal, from which emerge small skulls in relief, clear evidence of ancient burial use for which the church was used.

Inside are kept two altars, of Neapolitan workmanship, in polychrome marble commissioned by the Lieto Family.
